Every Dollar Tour

Gilbert Stuart Birthplace Museum built in 1751 gives you a glimpse of where the great artist was born and began his life before his famous portrait of George Washington graced the front of every dollar seen in America today. While visiting this Southern Rhode Island museum you will also see America’s first snuff mill. Then, tour Smith’s Castle, the original trading post established by Roger Williams, founder of Rhode Island, and Richard Smith. Enjoy lunch at the Coast Guard House after visiting the Towers of Narragansett Casino designed by McKim, Mead, & White.
