Read MoreJoin us for an exclusive evening at the gallery to celebrate the opening of Eric Lutes’ latest collection. Known for his iconic role as Del on NBC’s “Caroline in the City,” Eric’s true passion lies in painting. Growing up in a family steeped in art, Eric is the son of renowned marine artist John D. Lutes, and his work continues to reflect the beauty and power of the sea. Drawing inspiration from the sweeping waves of Charlestown Beach to the rocky shores of Maine, Eric’s unique style captures the strength and ever-changing qualities of the ocean. His breathtaking portrayals of quahogs and oysters have earned him comparisons to Georgia O’Keeffe, but with a distinctly coastal twist. In addition to his work as a painter, Eric is a Senior Fellow at the Rhode Island Coastal Institute at the University of Rhode Island, Bay Campus, where his deep connection to the natural world informs much of his artistry. Eric’s work can be found at the Charlestown Art Gallery, the Matunuck Oyster Bar, and Inspire Medical Spa, and now, you can view and acquire his latest pieces at this special gala event. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or someone captivated by the sea, this evening promises to be a memorable celebration of both art and nature. Don’t miss out – come meet Eric, view his stunning collection, and experience the magic of the ocean through his eyes.
