  • A day-long seminar on the life and work of Roger Williams at Cocumscussoc (Smith’s Castle North Kingstown RI) featuring presenters J.Stanley Lemons, co-author of Decoding Roger Williams ; James Warren, author of God, War and Providence ; Lorén Spears of Tomaquag Museum with co-authors of the new A Key into the Language of the Americas . Other presenters include North Kingstown town historian G. Timothy Cranston; Ranger John McNiff of Roger Williams Memorial Park in Providence; Charlotte Carrington-Farmer, Associate Professor of History, Roger Williams University; and Robert A. Geake, author of New and Native Americans. Tours of Smith’s Castle and the grounds available for all attendees. Continental breakfast and lunch included with admission.
