he Colonial Theatre presents William Shakespeare’s mystical tale of vengeance, betrayal, and magic on the outdoor stage in beautiful Wilcox Park, downtown Westerly. Performances are Wednesdays through Sundays July 22 through August 13. The evening of August 14 is reserved as a make-up date in the event that a performance is postponed due to inclement weather. ADMISSION IS FREE WITH REGISTRATION HERE. Upon arrival, visit the Check-In Tent for program and information. Attendees are encouraged to bring a portable chair or blanket to sit on, as well as food and beverages to enjoy during the show. The Colonial Theatre’s production of THE TEMPEST is appropriate for all ages. The duration of the performance is approximately 90 minutes.
