Ocean House Weddings

Last week we had the pleasure of being hosted for an amazing overnight at the Ocean House Resort in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.  Sarah True of True Event put together the most lovely group of ladies including Mayra and myself, Caitlin from True Event, the Abby and Emily from PaperMoss, Annie Lee of Daughter of Design and Jackie from Merci New York.  We had an amazing time in the hands of Toni from Ocean House, including a delicious and fun dinner for which Abby B. of Style Me Pretty.   Abby was the perfect addition to our merry band because she not only had been a client of True Event and Paper Moss, but her wedding was one of the first weddings after Ocean House completed a massive renovation/restoration.

The 5 Star resort is nothing short of amazing, with ocean views from nearly every angle, unbelievable service, outstanding food and gorgeous decor throughout the property. I could go on and on, and if you want to see some of my favorite moments of our trip, by all means visit my instagram page. BUT, because I could only dream of how dreamy a wedding at Ocean House would be, I stalked Abby’s photos on Style Me Pretty (have you seen the re-design yet? looks fab!) and I’m posting BUT a FEW of my favorites here.  Design and Planning by True Event, Stationery by PaperMoss and photography by Leila Brewster

Photo by Leila Brewster.I am so in love with their wedding because a) it was beautiful b) it involved Del’s frozen lemonade, which after 4 years of college in RI, we are obsessed with as a summer RI tradition and c) Abby’s husband is ALSO a Brown Alum, making him awesome for additional, personal alumni related reasons. Anyway, they had the Brown Derbies (the historic Brown Acappela group) perform at the cocktail hour.  For more images of this stunning wedding, visit SMP.
