The Ocean State Waves, the newest entry into the New England Collegiate Baseball League, will open the 2013 season and play its first ever game this Thursday, June 6 at Old Mountain Field in Wakefield, RI. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, relax and enjoy the game.
Parking attendants will be on hand to direct spectators on Opening Day. There will also be a Waves' shuttle service from South Kingstown High School.
Don't miss out. Tickets are $4 for adults and $1 for kids 12 and under and can be purchased at Old Mountain Field or stop by the Bomb Squad Baseball Company, 1174 Kingstown Road, Wakefield.
In addition to watching some of the top baseball players in the country compete this season at Old Mountain Field, there will be a variety of activities including a mobile arts classroom, face painting and more.
