South County RI’s Weekapaug Inn Anounces Opening of The Pavillion – A New Waterfront Meeting Venue in Rhode Island
Charlestown, RI – South County Tourism Council excited to announce in July of 2020 Weekapaug Inn will open the Pavillion – the newest meeting destination in New England. The Weekapaug Inn Pavillion is designed to host waterfront events year-round including business meetings, weddings, social events and gatherings. The space will host up to 75 guests and can be configured in a variety of ways. The two-story Pavillion will have large windows for waterfront views, an entry porch, two lobbies, large meeting and break-out spaces and east porch, inviting guest to enjoy the waterfront breeze.
According to Daniel Hostettler, President and Group Managing Director of Ocean House Management Collection, the Weekapaug Inn Pavilion will be an elevated extension of the event facilities already present at the luxury Relais & Châteaux property. “We recognize that today’s
travelers are seeking extraordinary experiences, to be fully immersed in their environment, and gain memories they can cherish for a lifetime. This is especially true for those who are planning a meeting, wedding or milestone event. Our dynamic events planning team will make it seamless for groups, combined with our world-class culinary program, and on-staff experts such as Naturalist Mark Bullinger who provides one-of-a-kind opportunities,” said Hostettler.
Nestled on the scenic Atlantic Coast, surrounded by a salt pond and overlooking a barrier beach, Weekapaug Inn is an idyllic and stunning destination, less than three hours from New York and two hours from Boston. True to the historic essence of Weekapaug Inn, the Pavilion will be designed in a classic New England style, influenced by the environment. The wooden structure paired with a stone chimney will complement red cedar roof shingles. The barefoot luxury ambiance and the breathtaking natural surroundings will complete the rustic yet refined venue.
