Pick Your Own for $10 A Bunch and Help the Bahamas Recover from Hurricane Dorian
Sunflowers are undoubtedly some of the happiest looking flowers, and for the next two weeks all are welcome to walk in a field of them at Manfredi Farms in Westerly. Pick Your Own Sunflowers costs $10 and gives you a beautiful bouquet to enjoy while donating to Hurricane Dorian recovery efforts in the Bahamas. Bring the kids, Manfredi Farms is fun for the family! The young at heart will enjoy a sand mountain with trucks and tractors, the photographer will have an incredible field of flowers to shoot, goats, chickens, and ducks are all waiting to be fed, pumpkins, squash, and delicious vegetables are all part of the experience.
Picking hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. everyday. Bring your own snippers and bags/buckets. Gloves are recommended.
This is the second year Manfredi Farms has used the beauty of these giant flowers to benefit others.Proceeds last year were donated to St. Jude’s Hospital and this year 50% of proceeds will be donated to the fundraising efforts of Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and matched dollar for dollar.
