Ocean House Wine Director, Jonathan Feiler, shares a recipe from the hotel's Veuve Clicquot Secret Garden. This is the easiest, yet fanciest Bloody Mary you will ever make and the ingredients are all things you probably have on hand. Jonathan started by sabering open the bottle of champagne, which you can check out in the first video below. It definitely will impress your brunch guests if you saber the champagne open in front of them and follow it by mixing the cocktail and letting them smell how the simple ingredients combined with the champagne really does smell like a Bloody Mary!

Recipe:

5 oz of Veuve Clicquot Rich Rose Champagne

1 wedge of tomato, or several cherry tomatoes

2 celery stalks

1 wedge of lemon

Tabasco sauce to taste

Instructions:

Fill a large champagne glass halfway with ice. Add all the fresh ingredients to the glass - no need to squeeze the lemon. Pour 5 ounces of champagne into the glass and smell - it will smell exactly like a traditional Bloody Mary! Add as much Tabasco sauce as you like and enjoy! Cheers!
