Rabbitwoman & Dogman by Gillie & Marc

The two sculptures  — Rabbitwoman and Dogman Paparazzi — are the first pieces in South County's growing collection of public art by internationally renowned artists Gillie and Marc.

Rabbitwoman and Dogman are the signature characters created by Gillie and Marc, representing love, acceptance, diversity, and the belief that our differences make us stronger. Through their whimsical and engaging artwork, the artists invite people of all ages to interact with the sculptures, take photos, and become part of the story.

These Paparazzi sculptures serve as a preview of a much larger installation arriving in late Fall 2026 as part of "A Wild Race Against Time," Gillie and Marc's global conservation initiative. This internationally recognized project uses monumental public art to raise awareness about endangered species and inspire action to protect wildlife around the world.

This fall, three large-scale sculptures featuring endangered animals will join Rabbitwoman and Dogman, creating “ Animal Avenue “— a destination where art, education, and conservation come together. 

Before arriving in Rhode Island, these sculptures will be showcased in Washington, D.C. as part of the artists' international campaign to bring attention to the urgent need for wildlife conservation. For more information: Wild Race Against Time
