Read MoreThe Audubon Society sold the 29 acre Kimball Wildlife Refuge to the Rhode Island Dept of Environmental Management(DEM) in 2015. It abuts Burlingame State Park and is now part of the park. There are trails on the property and trails that connect to the rest of the state land. The property is located on the south shore of Watchaug Pond and has a beach on the pond. The property can be accessed by car from Sanctuary Road.
