The Thomas Dambo Trolls Are Here!

"Wow what a great project. We felt really welcomed in Rhode Island and managed to make two great recycled sculptures in Ninigret Park. I know they can be a little bit hard to find, but that is on purpose so you can have a fun time searching for them. There are clues you will see that feel trolly, and that's how you know you are on the right path." -Thomas Dambo

Two giant trolls by world renowned recycle artist, Thomas Dambo, now call South County, RI home. Meet Erik Rock and Greta Grant, South County's new residents that can now be found in Ninigret Park. The park (and trolls) are free to the public. Park near the playground and it's just a short walk to the first troll, Erik Rock, who is situated by Little Ninigret Pond. Then, follow signs toward the Senior Center and find a marker (or follow the clues found on Erik Rock) to find your way to Greta Granite.

Please be respectful of the trolls. They are ticklish and do not like to be climbed, but please interact with them and go ahead and sit on the nearby stones and have your photo taken.

More trolls will be coming in the near future, not just to South County, but to the rest of Rhode Island as well. Stay tuned!
